Tonui Collab 

Today I went to Tonui Collab with my friend Harry. Again we had to wait for more people to arrive, but this time there was only 27 people there. Then Mac asked us to into groups of three, Dylan, Harry and I was in a group. For this challenge for the challenge we had to build a tower with only 27 pieces. It also had to be free standing. Today are tower fell over, just the time ran out. But they gave us all another chance, they also gave us all 8 more pieces so that we all had 35 pieces. After we the challenge we had to write some ideas of what we were going to have in are game... There really was a lot of suggestions on the window, where you had to put your sticky notes. Next Mac us all play some of his games... After 15 mins of playing Mac's games, we all went out of the computer room and went into the sunshine room, to eat some morning tea. Once we ate some of are snacks, we entered the computer room to get started on are game, are game was going to be based on Te Maro. When we got started most of us were stuck on a couple of things, but we all got passed where we were stuck, because Mac or Shannon would help out... As we started to finish up for the day, we all added some extra detail to our game. But all of us still weren't done our game, because there is always  a way to improve.

Tonui Collab

This week my friend Harry and i were selected to attend Tonui Collab. Along with 27 other kids from different schools. Then Shannon (the former leader) asked us to do a challenge. We had to get in a group of four. So Harry, Finn, Ngarongotoa and I formed a group. The challenge was who can make Shannon's tower exactly how she did. The main thing you needed was good memory. We had one thing wrong, the next challenge was who could build the highest tower with 32 connection pieces. The only thing was that had changed the teams around. I worked with a boy and girl from central, there names were Dylan and Ada. This challenge we won by 90cm, our tower was 161 cm and the second placed tower was 71 cm. Then Shannon let us have some morning tea, after that I buddied up with Dylan to make a game. Then Shannon told us a couple of tips on how to make it, and what to make. Then she let us have another snack to eat and she said we will have a visiter in to tell us a little more about Te Maro. After she told us all about Te Maro we had to do a brainstorm for our next game. So the game that we have already completed, was just to show us how to make a game.  Our next game will be based on Te Maro .     

  

Word Work

This week we did a very new word work. I am very proud of it I thought it would be hard but when you get correct you start to understand what you are doing. Photo Below.

Word work

 This week we did word work it was very fun we had to do this to get are priorities done we still have to do one more but this is the first one I. We do two but it is coming soon so I haven't completed word work yet.  I have just finished it today on Wednesday. Quick Write

School Holidays

In the school holidays my family and I, rushed to get to Wellington so my dad woke us all up before 7:30 in the morning... whew we made it right in time just before 3:00 in the afternoon. We were staying at my grandma and grandad's house for the week. My grandma is the nicest person in my whole entire family, she would do/get anything for me or my sisters, if you don't know who my sisters are, Skye and Caitlyn. 

We drove to the mall to make some balloon animals, because we were bored and we had nothing else to do, but we thought it would be fun. It took about 1 hour to find some long balloon's. The pack we found had a pump with it so it was easy to blow up. It also came with instructions on the back of it, so we were pretty much sorted out for the week. We finished making our balloon animals the next day.

My dad gave me a surprise by letting me go to Brody's house for the night. It was Brody's birthday that day so it was even better, except we had to get him a present... My dad got Brody a fart button, I was really embarrassed when I got to his house because he got a PS4 for his birthday. Brody and his family couldn't get it working, so they had to get a friend over to get it working. Well they called the wright friend because they got it to work in 15 minutes. But then they had to leave so it was only me and Brody. So we took turns on Fortnite and we downloaded some games. Brody also got a keyboard and mouse.

Going to Wellington was the highlight of my holiday.
