School Holidays

In the school holidays my family and I, rushed to get to Wellington so my dad woke us all up before 7:30 in the morning... whew we made it right in time just before 3:00 in the afternoon. We were staying at my grandma and grandad's house for the week. My grandma is the nicest person in my whole entire family, she would do/get anything for me or my sisters, if you don't know who my sisters are, Skye and Caitlyn. 

We drove to the mall to make some balloon animals, because we were bored and we had nothing else to do, but we thought it would be fun. It took about 1 hour to find some long balloon's. The pack we found had a pump with it so it was easy to blow up. It also came with instructions on the back of it, so we were pretty much sorted out for the week. We finished making our balloon animals the next day.

My dad gave me a surprise by letting me go to Brody's house for the night. It was Brody's birthday that day so it was even better, except we had to get him a present... My dad got Brody a fart button, I was really embarrassed when I got to his house because he got a PS4 for his birthday. Brody and his family couldn't get it working, so they had to get a friend over to get it working. Well they called the wright friend because they got it to work in 15 minutes. But then they had to leave so it was only me and Brody. So we took turns on Fortnite and we downloaded some games. Brody also got a keyboard and mouse.

Going to Wellington was the highlight of my holiday.

JUST DANCE PERFORMANCE 

This week we are doing a just dance performance, Me Harry, Nalu and Jaxon are doing: Waka Waka four players.You could have done two other songs like: Timber  which is two players: Hands Clap three players. "you boys aren't going to be doing just dance this week because it's a rotation of boys and girls" Koka Terri said. "What                    but we didn't get a turn"! I said. 

Things you need to have for the performance 1. costume 2. Teamwork 3. X-factor 4. synchronization, and yes you can get points  for how good your dressing up is, your teamwork and your x-factor and also your synchronization.

This week we have been doing just dance me, Harry and Jaxon are the hosts, we set it up and we change the songs. We would also dance are self, we love doing it but unfortunately we have rotations that goes like this: Me, Harry, Jaxon then it is Rio, Josie, Ella and last but not least Angus, Rasmus, and this week was Angus, Rasmus but we still participated it was still as fun, except we did not get to choose the song and set it all up, but "we will get to do it next week" I would tell Harry, but he would not listen to me.

We had to get control of the little kids (witch was really hard but) it was still fun. The first just dance was: Waka Waka (the best one) four players:YMCA four players: I can make your hands clap three players: Timber two players: and Rustafen one player.

Lighthouse Walk

Lighthouse walk

Crash,crash,crash as the waves crashing on the smooth yellow sand. Me and Harry

partnered for the lighthouse walk. We were so excited to go and see the school's old

lighthouse and the

maunga. I had never actually seen the school's lighthouse before.

FWEET,FWEET,FWEET. Blows a whistle and the air suddenly goes silent. We had

two lines for everyone's buddies and as you know my buddy is Harry. We started

to walk down the beach, ¨I have found some gems here Hunter¨ Said Harry. So we

started to look for them on the way there. ¨You look on that side I will look on this

side¨ Said Harry, So I looked on my side and Harry looked on his side.

We both came back together with two each, then it came to a pretty rocky bit. It

wasn't that slippery, ¨Harry we might need to go to a bit where it is dry so we don't

slip over¨ I said. So we moved up to a dry spot. Then we heard a whistle blow again

we will have a little break now¨ shouted Koka Ngaire. So we searched for some more

stuff, Harry found this very cool shell, found a stone with purple stuff in it. It was

incredible what we had found.

After a while we were at the school's lighthouse. It was as easy as that, we had sang a

school song right next to the school´s lighthouse. It was very old but it was still a cool experience.

The school turned around and started walking back to school.

Me and Harry had found a lot more gems on the way back.

¨I think there are more gems because they got washed up from the sea and ended up here

on the beach¨ said Harry. We had about a bag full when we got back where we came from but then Koka Ngaire said that we will have to drop them here. It was a little bit sad because we were going to keep them but we empdead them out on the way back to school.

Online schooling is fun.

Online schooling is fun.

School lockdown was pretty fun, because I got to spend time with my family. And I also liked

sleeping in and getting to do my work whenever I want in the day. I also liked the google meets to

see my teachers and my friends. School lockdown was pretty much the same for me. Because every

2 hours my dad would let me have a break like it was lunch time.

Online working was fun, because it was faster but at the same time it was harder. I also liked online

schooling. It was cool because there were different types of priorities. There was a famous week,

there was an animal week there also a story week and there was our world my earth. 

I am pretty excited to go back to school and see my teachers and my best friend Harry!

But mostly to do work in a book, and to see everyone at school!!!!!!!!

3 2 1 swim!!!

On Wednesday at school getting ready for swim sports Rm 2 had there brain break early hopping on the bus going to enterprise. We well me and the boys sang some songs all the way. There well part of the time we talked and we did some very funny jokes. But when we got there we Rm 2/3 hopped of the bus. Rm 2 and 3 went to go and get changed into are togs for enterprise. I waited and waited for my race to come.  

I was so terrified lining up to go for a swim. There was three in front of me. I was scared because the next two people went so fast there was just one more before I have to go. Koka Rozie was ready to start the person's race in front of me on you're makes get set go!!!  The person in front of me finished very  quickly. 


It was my race I had to race Rori, Nathan,Apay and Osca. They were all very hard but I accomplished to come third so I got in the final. But then I had to wait for my next race and that was Breaststroke. Mein while I ate some of my lunch waiting for my Breaststroke race.  Koka Ngaire/Koka Joe King cold out my name. I was so scared  for my race. I was behind three more people again they went so fast that next up was me. I went as fast as I could. but I came forth in Breaststroke then it was a tie with me and Nalu in the final.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   After my race I went to go and get changed to get ready to go back to school. I talked to Harrison. and me and the boys sang some tik tok songs and some cool normal songs and I was so realeafet to be back at school.

                                                                                              

The start to school is amazing!

Week one back at school started off a little boring until they mentioned Buzz Groups. I was like what are Buzz Groups? The whole class looked for their Buzz Buddies. It took me a little while to find my Buzz Buddies. Eventually I found Tristan, William, Ben and Mako.

Buzz Groups are learning groups of five to seven people. We do lots of learning and quizzes together. Working as a team can be hard for some people. My group works well together, some times. Cup Stacking was a hard game. I think most of all we need to work together as a team. 

We had to first find our Buzz Buddies. It was not going to be easy. You had a piece of paper, that had a word on it. You had to find a person who's word matched to your piece of paper. When you found a buddy, you had to find the rest of your Buzz Group. All of my buddy's where boys.

Ben is a funny boy, he likes to tell jokes. William is nice, he always helps you.Tristan is a smart year 6 he always finishes his work . Mako is also a smart boy.
